This is a fun and easy relay activity for middle school summer youth programming!

  1. Form 2 teams and give each a set of clothing.
  2. Fill coolers with cold water and have each team make a line next to a cooler.
  3. To start the relay, have the first player of each team dunk the clothing into the water and quickly put it on over their own clothing; then run to a designated spot and back.
  4. After getting back to the line, each player must pass their clothing to the next person in line who then dunks the clothing, puts it on and races to the designated spot and back..
  5. Continue until each player has had a turn.
  6. The team getting done first is the winner!
