Nurse Heightens Health Awareness

In a newsletter with fruit and veggie information, a nurse wrote, very honestly, that she didn't eat enough servings. With that confession, came feedback from others, sharing their eating habits, and heightened awareness...AND the opportunity to role-model for others moved the nurse to eat more veggies!

Using Healthy Kids Challenge messages for all ages, additional healthy "spin" was added to waiting room bulletin boards and employee/community newsletters.
