Big Brothers/Big Sisters Healthy Event

Scott County hospital linked with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters (BBBS) organization for a first ever "Gingerbread House" decorating event. The event was held at a community church hall during the winter holiday season. With community donated artistic foods and "houses" created by Scott County Hospital's Nutrition Services Department, kids and adults decorated gingerbread houses.

Interactive booths lined the walls of the room where participants were given the options to practice healthy eating skills, such as building their own trail mix; and pose for a picture with a milk mustache.
