Stirring Up Healthy Messages

Bethesda Elementary is stirring up healthy messages and shining a light throughout the school! KidLink team members are teaching mini lessons to parents and kids, and organizing cafeteria tours and nutrition theme bulletin boards to provide healthy habit awareness.

KidLinks worked together to transform the blank cafeteria walls into a colorful, mural! The message continues when fun physical activity tips and suggestions are added to the weekly parent newsletters.

Second graders loved their fun, artistic, and healthy Halloween! While pumpkins were given creative “veggie faces”, there was a discussion of healthy nutrients found in the face parts.

What a great example of hands-on learning! Thank you Bethesda! Your actions are making a difference for many!
