IGNITE a Healthy School Environment

Healthy Kids Challenge is SPARK's new and exclusive Healthy School Environment and Nutrition Services partner.  Overcoming multiple challenges to a healthy school environment calls for a "Partners in Health" team effort:  our HKC - SPARK IGNITE workshop! 

Professional trainers from SPARK (a PE/PA expert) and HKC (a Registered Dietitian) team up to lead these workshops.  We use formative assessment, training, and follow-up support to help create a healthy school environment. 

In true HKC form, we use a HEAR-SEE-DO approach.  In other words we don't just talk about the why and what, we show you HOW to take action.
Some topics include: 

• Best practices for creating a healthy school environment 
• Ways to utilize the environment to teach/reinforce health and wellness behaviors 
• Skill building for making healthy choices a part of daily life
