| Directions: |
| 1. |
Before beginning the activity, cut out fruit and veggie picture examples from magazines. |
| 2. |
Have each child: |
| a. |
Choose a magazine picture of a fruit and/or veggie they like or would be willing to try. |
| b. |
Write the name and glue the fruit and/or veggie picture on a paper plate. (Assist with spelling and writing as needed.) |
| 3. |
Ask kids to see how many times they can find THEIR fruit and/or veggie at the Food Museum (grocery store) the next time they go with an adult. Encourage them to report back to the class. |

*Later, use the fruit and veggie paper plate creations to build a “More Matters” bulletin board display!
