Help Kids Pick Healthy Snacks at the Grocery Store

  • Make out a grocery list with them of healthy snacks they would eat.
  • Take your kids to the grocery store to help choose those snacks and also have them look at Nutrition Facts labels on pre-packaged snack options.
  • Compare the fat and/or sugar amounts per serving in various pre-packaged snack choices.
  • Purchase those snacks with the lower fat and/or sugar amounts.
