Breakfast Go PowerBreakfast, daily, it’s the go power way!

Imagine a car trying to get somewhere without fuel. Doesn't work, does it? We're the same way and breakfast is our morning fuel! Try quick on the go favorite foods for morning Go Power like lowfat cheese and whole grain crackers, dry cereal and a bottle of skim milk, or orange slices with peanut butter toast. Drive away the midmorning sleepies when you start your day the Breakfast Go Power way!

 

Drink ThinkStop and think about what you drink! Grab a water, not a soda!

I take time to think about what I drink instead of always grabbing a sugared drink.

Fluids like water and lowfat milk are important for a healthy body.

It’s really easy to BYou, B Healthy if you do things like practice Drink Think!

 

5 A Day the Tasty WayLots of colors, lots of flavor, more is better, at least 5-9 each day!

“5 A Day the Tasty Way isn't about having to eat things you don't like but exploring the colors of the rainbow with lots of different fruits and veggies, trying new ones from time to time, and remembering fresh fruit and veggies are the original fast food! Most are a wash and GO food and TASTY too!

Try baby carrots and lowfat dip in your lunch bag, or apple slices and peanut butter for a great snack after school and between activities!

Smart ServingsAll foods fit, just be wise, check out your portion size!

I like to eat out with my friends, and I definitely eat on the run with my hectic schedule! So, it's even more important for us to really look at our portion sizes.

Enjoy the positive message that “all foods fit” brings to your day when you choose healthy serving sizes.

 

Active Play Every DayGet up and move, dance, walk, bike, but BYou, B Healthy every day!

It’s fun to get up and move, and it's healthy for your body too! Pick activities you like, from dance to racquetball, walking to yoga, there's a world of choices.

Snack AttackLet between meal snacks fuel your body.

Snacks aren't a “bad” thing. Snacks can be a tasty, healthy part of your day. Whole grain crackers, raw fruits and veggies, and low fat yogurt are a few yummy ways to enjoy a Snack Attack.

A favorite snack of mine is a handful of raw almonds.
