For grades pre K - 8!  Six healthy eating and active play messages take action with the Health Works! Wellness in Academics™ toolkit, a set of seven booklets (24 pages each).   

Each Health Works! booklet focuses on one of the six healthy practices: Breakfast GO Power, Drink Think, Smart Servings, Snack Attack, Active Play, and Fruits and Veggies, Every Day the Tasty Way. As a bonus, the seventh booklet provides great ideas for teaching with the U.S.D.A. MyPyramid.

The toolkit is designed to help school and community program wellness teams create awareness, provide more healthy options, link to academics, and teach skills.

*On June 2, USDA announced a change to the MyPyramid icon. It is now MyPlate. HKC will be making revisions to include the new MyPlate symbol. Very slight modifications will be needed for the healthy messages.
