Healthy Kids Challenge (HKC) events are a great example of Eat – Move – Enjoy Healthy Balance™ in action! Not only are HKC events enjoyable, they are valuable learning experience.
Each HKC event puts “Hear—See—Do” learning to work. Participants have an opportunity to HEAR healthy messages, SEE how to make healthy changes and DO, practice healthy choices.

2010 Fun and Fit as a Family Festival
For the 2nd year, the HKC Walk Through the Pyramid™ was highlighted at the Miami, Florida, Fun and Fit as a Family Festival. The Festival is a part of the Food Network 's South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Cabot Creamery, a HKC Partner in Health, joined in presenting the interactive display. Kids and families learned healthy eating can be easy, fun, colorful and tasty.

Sabrina Bryan Teaches Dance Steps
Small Kansas Town School Wins First Annual Dance for Health™ Contest
When a condemned gymnasium left them few options to be physically active at school, 106 junior high students took ACTION by participating in the Dance for Health™ fundraiser. They raised almost $5,000 to purchase active play equipment for use in classrooms and earned a "Day of Dance" with celebrity, Sabrina Bryan.
On February 25th, Sabrina Bryan, Healthy Kids Challenge spokesperson, Cheetah Girl, Dancing with the Stars and BYou celebrity spent the day with the students. She taught 6th, 7th, and 8th graders dance routines, talked with them about healthy lifestyles and just had fun. The gracious event sponsors were CIGNA and Mission Foods. We congratulate the kids at Wichita County Junior High School, Leoti, Kansas for their spirit and ability to overcome odds to promote an active lifestyle!
