Ready, Set, Cook, Eat
Featuring a 3 team “cook-off” Ready, Set, Cook, and Eat™ (RSCE) brings healthy eating and cooking to life in a fun and entertaining way.
Each team is given a surprise sack of food supplies, simple cooking equipment, kitchenware, and 30-45 minutes to prepare a tasty, healthy dish. With adult team leaders, kids (over age 10) on teams learn while having fun.
The healthy message selected for the event determines the teams’ ingredients. As food preparation is taking place, an MC is interacting with the audience to:
- provide quick healthy tips
- engage them in a food trivia contest
- lead a little fun physical activity
Audience participants go home with healthy eating tip sheets and ideas for their own use.
