Healthy Tips

Think of wellness as healthy eating and physical activity choices you want to take! Healthy Kids Challenge ideas help with solutions that work for you.

Family Tips

Healthy Kids Challenge targets six ways to a healthier family:

  • breakfast
  • fruits and veggies
  • active play
  • healthy snacks
  • smart servings
  • wise drink choices

Take the Challenge to think about your families’ eating and physical activity habits. Start by thinking of the healthy way to start off your day…with breakfast.

Breakfast Benefits!

You are missing out if breakfast is missing in your day! Take a new look at breakfast for GO POWER. Breakfast helps you do your best at work, school, sports or whatever you do!

Studies show breakfast eaters tend to have healthier weights and better concentration for tasks at work or school.

A Healthy Breakfast

A breakfast combo of at least 3 MyPyramid Food Groups give you power through the day. Mix up your choices with “nontraditional” breakfast foods, like a slice of pizza or a bowl of “mac and cheese”. Add a piece of fruit and glass of low fat milk for a terrific start to the day!
