“I am inspired to go back and try some change strategies. Lots of good ideas & resources- GREAT!”

  1. HEAR the message – Hear current key concepts and best practice standards from those that set the stage for kids’ health such as CDC, Institute of Medicine, USDA, and American Academy of Pediatrics.
  2. SEE the message – See ideas for displays, bulletin board ideas, and visuals to teach nutrition and activity concepts in fun ways, all a part of a HKC workshop or training.
  3. DO or practice the message – Test the ideas, get up and move, try out a tasty snack activity for the workshop break, and experience how simple and easy it is to integrate healthy eating and physical activity messages into existing curriculum and programming for kids!
